Mr Vladimir Anikin is a consultant thoracic surgeon at Harefield Hospital. He has expertise in all areas of thoracic and oesophageal surgery.

Areas of expertise

Mr Anikin has wide experience in all areas of thoracic and oesophageal surgery, including general thoracic surgical procedures (excluding transplantation), diagnostic and interventional endoscopy. He has performed a significant number of complex lung resection procedures, in patients with advanced tumours using bronchial and vascular reconstruction. Mr Anikin is also experienced in advanced video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery (VATS) for lung and mediastinal tumours, including VATS lobectomy and segmentectomies.
